Happy Dirt Day!

Do you have a little boy in your life who has a birthday coming up?  If you do, I have the perfect card for you today!

The I Dig You set is retiring, but you still have a couple days to get it!  This year Stampin' Up! overlapped the catalogs a little, so you have until Monday to get any retiring product you can't live without!

I love the Argyle embossing folder with this image.  I think it looks like little tire tracks!!!!  Check out that chevron pattern on the bottom edge of the card.  That was done with the string of pennants image from the Designer Typeset Photopolymer set.  If you haven't tried the Photopolymer sets yet, you should!  They have pros and cons.  I love the price, how sticky they are on the clear blocks and how easy it is to line up images when you have clear stamps on clear blocks.  That being said, I still love the quality of the images when you stamp with rubber!

Pop-Up Posies Box

Today I have a Pop-Up Posies box to share with you made with the retiring Fancy Favor die.

I started with a Lucky Limeade box and wrapped it with some Tea for Two DSP.  I tied a piece of Very Vanilla Seam Binding ribbon around it and added one of the Pop-Up Posies tags to the front of the box.  To finish it off I added one of the Calypso Coral flowers and stamped a sentiment on the tag.

Neutral Pop-Up Posies

Time for another Pop-Up Posies project!  This time I used the flower pieces that look like mini cupcake papers!

Best of Butterflies Monarch

The Best Of sets are a combination of popular stamp images from the last 25 years and 1 new image for this year.  Every time there's a new set, I try and remember which set each image is from!  With the Best of Butterflies set, I remembered all the butterflies!  There was one I was really excited about.  I always loved this butterfly, but never got the set it came in.  Here's a look at what I did with it with my class a couple weeks ago.

Now, I don't know if I've colored that butterfly like a monarch, but it reminds me of one, so I'm going with it!  I layered it with a Honeycomb embossed piece of cardstock and a fun little banner.  I love everything about this card!

Pop-Up Posies in Shades of Blue

Have you ordered your Pop-Up Posies kit yet?  If you haven't, you need to before Friday when the Spring Catalog is done!  It's a super fun kit that comes with paper flowers, tags, string, brads and a cute stamp.  The kit is marketed as a tag kit, but there's so much you can do with it.  This week, I'm going to share three projects made with product from the Pop-Up Posies kit.

Today I have a card in shades of blue!

It was such an easy card to pull together!  Those flowers come pre-cut for you!  All I did was take some, scrunch them a bit, sponge the edges of some of the petals and then stick them together with one of the brads from the kit.  I love the layout of this card.  Stop by tomorrow to see a super fun and pretty card with the same layout.
