Newsprint Thanks

I think this was my favorite card from the Stamp-A-Rama, and I have made a bunch to have on hand when I need a Thank You!

I was really unsure about the Newsprint DSP when I first saw it, but I thought I would order it and see what I could come up with.  So far so good!  I saw a few cards floating around in cyberpace similar to this, and here is my take!

I love the look of Crumb Cake and Black together and it works perfectly with the Newsprint DSP.  I stamped the hydrangea from the Level One hostess set with Crumb Cake on Very Vanilla cardstock, then I sponged the edges with Crumb Cake ink.  The sentiment was stamped over the hydrangea with Basic Black ink.  I love the way this looks!  This whole piece is attached with Stampin' Dimensionals, so it really pops off the card.

The DSP was sponged around the edges with Crumb Cake and then a little Early Espresso to give it a bit of an aged look.  The card is finished off with some Basick Black Satin Ribbon and brads.  So simple, yet stunning!

Have an inspired day!
